Avances en Interacción Humano-Computadora (AIHC) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct in scholarly publishing.

The journal expects authors, reviewers, editors, and editorial board members to uphold principles of honesty, accountability, transparency, rigor, and respect throughout the research and publication process.

Research submitted to the journal must be conducted in accordance with applicable ethical, legal, and professional standards. Authors are expected to report methods, data, analyses, and findings accurately and transparently.

The journal does not tolerate research misconduct, including but not limited to:

  • Fabrication of data or results;
  • Falsification or manipulation of data, images, or research records;
  • Plagiarism in any form;
  • Duplicate or redundant publication;
  • Citation manipulation;
  • Undisclosed conflicts of interest;
  • Misrepresentation of authorship or contributions;
  • Peer review manipulation.

Allegations of misconduct will be investigated by the editorial team in accordance with established editorial procedures. When necessary, the journal may contact authors, institutions, funding agencies, or other relevant parties to seek clarification.

Where misconduct is confirmed, the journal may issue corrections, expressions of concern, retractions, or other editorial actions deemed appropriate to preserve the integrity of the scholarly record.
