Avances en Interaccion Humano-Computadora is the journal of the Mexican Association on Human-Computer Interaction (AMexIHC).

Avances en Interacción Humano-Computadora (AIHC) is a peer-reviewed open-access scientific journal published by the Mexican Association of Human-Computer Interaction (AMexIHC). Since its establishment in 2016, the journal has aimed to disseminate original research, technological advances, empirical studies, and methodological contributions in the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and related areas.

AIHC publishes research articles, literature reviews, technical reports, and scholarly contributions related to the design, development, evaluation, and use of human-centered technologies. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, user experience (UX), usability, accessibility, user-centered design, emerging technologies, artificial intelligence for interactive systems, virtual and augmented reality, educational technologies, health informatics, and social aspects of human-technology interaction.

The journal operates under a double-blind peer review process, ensuring the scientific quality, impartiality, and academic integrity of published works. All articles are published under an open-access model and are freely available to readers worldwide.

AIHC seeks to serve as an international forum for researchers, educators, students, and practitioners interested in the study, design, and evaluation of interactive technologies, contributing to the advancement of the discipline and the strengthening of the Human-Computer Interaction community in Mexico, Ibero-America, and beyond.

 

Publication Frequency

Avances en Interacción Humano-Computadora (AIHC) follows a continuous publication model. Accepted manuscripts are published online individually as soon as they have successfully completed the editorial process, including peer review, copyediting, typesetting, and DOI assignment.

All articles published during a calendar year are compiled into a single annual volume and issue, providing a consistent bibliographic record while enabling rapid dissemination of research findings.

This publication model shortens the time between manuscript acceptance and publication, ensuring timely communication of scholarly research.
