Abstract

This article explores how the design of the mobile application CALMA can support a vulnerable group—university students—who have developed anxiety issues due to psychological, social, and academic pressures. The design of CALMA is based on the User-Centered Design (UCD) methodology, detailing three key phases focused on the context, users, and specific needs of the target population. Additionally, the development of the prototype is described, which was evaluated using techniques such as focus groups and the Wizard of Oz method. The results were favorable, suggesting the application's potential effectiveness.
